INLAYS

Here's a few examples of my inlay and artwork on various instruments. 
I only do my inlay work on instruments during the build stage. 
 Most of the inlay work is done with paua and pearl, the extra colours you see are from tinting the shell to get reds and yellows. 
The linework you see on the coffin ukulele is acheived by burning/etching/engraving (choose your own terminology here) into the wood.
 Any painted images are done in nitrocelulose lacquer so as to be compatable with the finish I use.
